당신이 나를 사랑해야 한다면

당신이 나를 사랑해야 한다면
오로지 사랑만을 위해서 사랑해주세요.
"그녀의 미소가 예뻐서
그녀의 모습과 상냥한 말씨가 예뻐서
내 생각과 잘 어울리며 어느 날 내 마음에 기쁨을 가져다준
그녀의 생각이 신통해서 사랑한다"라고 말하지 말아주세요.
이런 것들은, 사랑하는 이여, 제 스스로 변할 수 있고
또 그대 쪽에서 변할 수 있으니, 그렇게 얻어진 사랑은
또 그렇게 잃어버릴 수가 있어요.
내 볼에 흐르는 눈물 닦아주는
그대 연민 때문에 날 사랑한다고도 말하지 말아주세요.
그대 사랑이 오래 지나면 나는 우는 것을 잊고
그대도 사랑을 잊을 거예요.
그러니 오로지 사랑만을 위해서만 사랑해주세요.
